Watch the labels on a real Bronco overhead console. The lamination adds about 2.5 mil of thickness, which protects the printed surface and makes the sheet stiffer and easier to place. The labels are laminated for durability and made from premium vinyl, laminate and inks, giving them an average lifespan of about 7 years. Inside the cab they are also protected from most UV exposure.

1. Wipe the area with a microfiber and a simple interior cleaner. Rubbing alcohol diluted to 10–15% also works. Skip Armor All-style protectants and silicone-based sprays, since they leave a residue the label won't stick to.
2. Let the surface dry completely. Make sure it is free of wax and out of direct sunlight.
3. Align the label to the switch face and press it down.
4. Warm the label gently with a hair dryer or heat gun on low to help the adhesive bond, then press down the corners and edges firmly.

You'll need: microfiber, a simple residue-free interior cleaner (or diluted rubbing alcohol) and a heat gun or hair dryer to help the adhesive bond.
