Not All Materials Are Created EqualOur 3D Carbon is Dragon Wrap™ Carbon Fiber Film — a 5.6 mil calendered vinyl with a repositionable permanent adhesive on an air-egress liner. Excellent dimensional stability, up to 5-year outdoor durability, and rated excellent for water, humidity, and solvent resistance. 🔧 Installation
Install in 75–85°F weather. A wet install is recommended: spray the surface and the back of the vinyl with StickerFab fluid so you can slide it into place, work out the fluid from the center outward, then set the adhesive with light heat from a hair dryer or heat gun. Work up the heat slowly — if it would burn you, it can burn the material.
For the 3D Carbon material, do not apply wax — clean with normal soap and water; 303 Aerospace Cleaner further enhances the finish.
